I provide individual, couples, family and group therapy for adults and adolescents.
Individual Therapy: The initial intake session for individual therapy is 60 minutes long. After that, sessions are 45 minutes, once a week or more frequently, as appropriate. In order to accommodate clients' schedules, I offer sessions in my office, by telephone or Skype, if therapeutically indicated.
Couples Therapy: The initial intake session for couples therapy is 75 minutes long. After that, sessions are 60 minutes, once a week or more frequently, as appropriate. I offer couples therapy sessions in my office.
Parent Guidance and Education:
Parent guidance and education is for parents of children with eating disorders. Sessions are 60 minutes long. I offer these sessions in my office, by telephone, or Skype, if needed to accommodate busy schedules.
Family Therapy:
The initial intake session for family therapy is 90 minutes long. After that, sessions are 75-90 minutes (depending on number of family members), once a week or more frequently, as clinically indicated. I offer these sessions in my office.
Group Therapy: The initial intake session for group therapy is 45 minutes long. After that, group sessions are 90 minutes. Currently I am co-leading a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills groups for adults with eating disorders. These groups take place in my office. Although I do not take insurance, I am eligible for reimbursement by point-of-service insurance plans. I provide an itemized monthly bill that clients may submit for
insurance reimbursement.
